Website redesign and SEO audit in Tunisia

Your site exists, but it is slow, invisible on Google or dated. Belia IT audits it, rebuilds it and optimises it — keeping the rankings and the links you have already earned.

Failed redesigns all look alike: the new site is prettier, and traffic collapses the following month. The cause is almost always the same — the old URLs were not redirected, the tags were lost, the content that brought visitors in was "streamlined" away, and Google had to rediscover a site it already knew. A redesign is as much a search operation as a design project.

So we always start with the audit, never with the mockup: what brings you traffic today, what loses it, what is broken, what is simply slow. The report is yours and stays useful even if you have the redesign done elsewhere, or decide not to do it at all — sometimes a two-day technical fix is enough.

What a Belia IT redesign includes

Technical and SEO audit

Speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile rendering, tags, structured data, internal linking, crawl errors, duplicate content, security and certificate. A costed, prioritised report.

Redirect plan

Every old URL is mapped to its replacement with a permanent redirect. This is the step failed redesigns skip, and the one that preserves the rankings you hold.

Technical rebuild

The site rebuilt in Next.js: server rendering, AVIF and WebP images, caching, loading in under two seconds on a mobile network.

Content and keywords

Analysis of the queries you can realistically appear on, rewritten titles and descriptions, page structure organised around search intent.

Search Console and monitoring

Sitemap submission, correction of reported errors, and monitoring of rankings and traffic for the three months after launch.

What a well-run redesign changes

Pages that load in under two seconds

Speed is a ranking factor and, more importantly, the main reason people leave. On mobile, a second saved shows up directly in the enquiry rate.

Your rankings kept

Redirects, tags and useful content are carried over page by page. The goal is to come out of the redesign at the same level and then climb — not to start from zero.

A site you can maintain

An admin interface with no plugins to update every month and no risk of breaking the layout by editing a paragraph.

An honest diagnosis

If the audit concludes that a targeted fix is enough, we say so and bill for the audit, not a redesign. It costs you less, and it is how we get recommended.

How a redesign runs

  1. 1. Audit

Technical, search and content analysis of the existing site, using data from Google Search Console and your analytics tool.

  2. 2. Decisions

A prioritised report: what must be rebuilt, what can be fixed, what can wait. You choose the scope with the facts in hand.

  3. 3. Rebuild

New site, redirect plan, migration of the content that performs, testing on mobile and the major browsers.

  4. 4. Switchover and monitoring

Go-live, sitemap submission, then three months of ranking and error monitoring with fixes included.

What a website redesign costs in Tunisia

The technical and SEO audit is available on its own, and its cost is deducted from the quote if you have Belia IT do the redesign. A full redesign sits at the package level of the site being rebuilt — from 2,590 TND excl. tax for a brochure site, 6,590 TND excl. tax for an online store or an application. The first conversation and the initial diagnosis are free.

What you receive at the end of a redesign

A well-run redesign leaves you with usable documents, not just a new design.

  • The inventory of the old site's URLs, showing which ones generate traffic.
  • The 301 redirect table from each old address to the new one.
  • The switchover and rollback plan, to put the old site back online if necessary.
  • The before-and-after comparison: loading speed and Core Web Vitals indicators.
  • Search Console set up, with the new sitemap submitted.

Full redesign or targeted fix?

Rebuilding the whole site is not always the right answer. The audit settles it with measurements, not gut feeling.

Redesign and SEO — frequently asked questions

Will I lose my rankings by rebuilding my site?

That is the real risk of a badly run redesign, and the reason we produce a page-by-page redirect plan before switchover. Old URLs point to the new ones with permanent redirects, and the tags and content that generate traffic are kept. The goal is to be back at your traffic level within a month, then to grow.

How do I know whether my site needs a redesign?

Three signals: it takes more than three seconds to appear on a phone, it does not show up for the queries in your trade, or you can no longer change it without calling someone. The audit settles it — sometimes two days of technical fixes are enough, and we say so rather than selling a redesign.

Do you do SEO on its own, without a redesign?

Yes. The technical and SEO audit, the keyword plan and fixes on an existing site can all be done without a rebuild, whatever the underlying technology. That said, if the site sits on a slow foundation the ceiling arrives quickly — we tell you that before, not after.

How long before results show on Google?

Technical fixes — speed, mobile, tags, crawl errors — are picked up within a few weeks. Gaining ground on competitive queries takes months and depends on content published over time. Nobody serious will promise you first place in thirty days.

Do you work on existing WordPress or Shopify sites?

Yes, for audits and fixes. For a rebuild we usually propose moving to a Next.js foundation — faster and with no dependency on third-party extensions — carrying over all existing content and URLs.

How much does a website redesign cost in Tunisia?

It is quoted according to the site being rebuilt: from 2,590 TND excl. tax for a brochure site and from 6,590 TND excl. tax for an online store or an application. The technical and SEO audit is offered on its own, and its cost is deducted from the quote if you entrust the redesign to us.

How long does a redesign take?

From a few days for a brochure site to several weeks for a site with many pages or a store. The audit sets the schedule before we begin, including the switchover date, chosen to limit the impact on your traffic.

Are 301 redirects essential?

Yes, whenever addresses change. A 301 redirect tells Google that the old page has been replaced by the new one: without it, the rankings and traffic of the old address are lost. We draw up the list before the switchover.

Can we change the domain name during a redesign?

Yes, but it is the riskiest change for SEO. It requires complete redirects and a declaration in Search Console. We advise against it without a strong reason, such as a rebrand.
